Playing 'mummy'
Elvie sat next to Mel today with her doll and had her first attempt at breastfeeding (the doll) while Mel fed Billy.
She then enjoyed having a hold and is very excited about babies. She understands a lot more now than what she did a little while ago. Every day she asks when our baby is coming out and has named it 'kicky' because it kicks her hand when she places it on my tummy.
This morning she told me that when Kicky comes out it will drink from her boobies. I later found her trying on one of my bras, declaring "I'm putting on mummy's boobies"
26 weeks pregnant
Bub has been kicking up under my ribs each day and has just started getting the hiccups from time to time.
The latest appointment was good - bub has a very strong heartbeat, is developing well and I am healthy and feeling mostly fine.

New Gloves
We bought a pair of gloves today and Elvie loves them! She is right into 'make believe' at the moment so each finger immediately took on a personality as it put on it's new stripy costume.

Cooking with Grandma 'click click'
Grandma and Elvie made apricot crumble today. Elvie really enjoyed making her own special crumble and getting her hands all sticky just like Grandma.

Elvie took a good hour in this car to figure out what powered it...
When she finally got her feet going, she could only reverse.
She did eventually figure out how to go forwards but we'll have to have another driving lesson to master the steering wheel.

Today we went to a play centre for Brea's baby shower.
Grandma bought Jet a bubbacino, but he lost interest in it so Elvie finished it for him.
